Product Features
Peony stamens are the most concentrated part of the peony flower, representing the very essence of its vitality and nutrition. Rich in nutrients, they are considered the core of what has sustained and evolved the peony plant over thousands of years. Once hailed as “botanical gold,” the peony is a symbol of elegance and resilience.
Peony stamens contain a variety of bioactive compounds, including polysaccharides, flavonoids, alkaloids, volatile oils, terpenoids, and saponins, with exceptionally high levels of vitamin B3.
Peony Stamen Tea offers a naturally pure taste, with a golden hue, delicate aroma, and soft, elegant flavor. Due to its limited yield, it is regarded as a “rising star among teas.”
Usage Instructions
-
Teaware: Use glassware only. Avoid porcelain or ceramic teapots, as they may affect the quality.
-
Water: Use pure water at 70°C (158°F). High temperatures can destroy the active compounds in the stamens. Do not use boiling water.
-
Steeping: Pour half a cup of hot water first and let the stamens soak for a few minutes. Then fill the cup. This helps the stamens sink to the bottom.
-
Edibility: The stamens are edible after infusion. Each portion can be steeped up to two times. After drinking, the stamens can be eaten and still retain their fragrance.
-
Freshness: Drink immediately after brewing. Do not leave the tea standing, as oxidation may affect its quality.
